Together, community health assessments and planning are important tools to use in determining the overall health of a community and identifying key health issues facing our community. The quality of the neighborhoods where we live, work, and play is just as crucial to achieving good health as going to the doctor for regular checkups, proper nutrition, and adequate physical activity.
In collaboration with the health departments of the Northern Panhandle, the Wheeling-Ohio County Health Department is currently in the process of conducting a Community Health Assessment for 2024. The assessment will be open from June 14-July 14, 2024.
